Why you should go to yoga
The most basic principle of yoga philosophy is to be a good person… and the world could use more good people. Yoga is an opportunity to take care of ourselves so that we can better take care of others. It is a physical practice of connecting the breath, body and soul. Yoga is empowering. It takes us out of our heads where self doubt exists and into a place of strength and possibility.
Whitney has loved practicing and sharing yoga for years. She received her 200hr RYT through her studies with Baron Baptiste and Paige Eleison, and received her two kids yoga certifications through Next Generation Yoga. Whitney believes that yoga is for everybody, it should be playful, fun and feel good. Just show up.
To Angie yoga is comforting, challenging and inspiring. She chose to get her 200hr RYT to further explore her passion for movement. She loves kids and is certified in kids yoga through Next Generation Yoga. Angie believes in yoga practice over yoga perfect and challenges her students to come as they are.
Yoga has had such a positive influence on Brie's life that she feels passionate about sharing it with others. She is 200hr RYT certified in Vinyasa and loves to focus her practice and classes on the connection between mind, body and spirit. She loves being a teacher, but considers herself a life long learner.
Deep, passionate and intuitive... these words describe Chastity's essence which is felt clear through her teachings. Her journey to yoga began from the advice of her personal trainer, who advised her to weight lift less and stretch more to reverse the effects of being tight and constricted from her career of body work.
I attended Danielle Zissou’s 200 Hour TT Program and immediately began teaching in multiple Studios in the Seattle area. A job offer in the Tri Cities brought me to this side of the state, and before I was even officially hired, I was teaching Yoga.
To me, yoga is a playground for the body and the mind. In my classes I love to create a space where people can have fun, experience joy, and leave their burdens behind. I emphasize the connection between breath and body, as well as between the body and mind.
